The Flying Safety Meeting is held on the first Wednesday of even-numbered months (February, April, etc.)

The general membership meeting is at 1830 (6:30 pm).

The Standardization Board will meet at 1800 (6:00 pm). Standardization Board members include club officers, club advisors, instructors and clearing authorities (SOFs).

Attendance at our bimonthly safety meetings is mandatory for club members to maintain flight currency. However, far from being onerous, these meetings are great way to keep up with safety topics and to network with fellow flyers.

If you are unable to attend an in-person meeting, you must view the DVD of the meeting in the Kirtland Flight Center office before you can fly again. If you view it when the office is closed, write a note listing the main topics and slip it under the Chief Flight Instructor’s or the Office Manager’s door to receive credit.
