Attendance at our monthly safety meetings is mandatory for club members. However, far from being onerous requirements, these monthly meetings are great way to learn and network with fellow flyers, and usually there is a fabulous door prize awarded to a lucky attendee! Occasionally we will be unable to meet in person, so the meeting slides will be distributed via email.
The Flying Safety Meeting is now held on the first Wednesday of each month. The instructor’s meeting begins at 1800 (6:00 PM) and the general membership meeting begins at 1830 (6:30 PM) at the KAFB Mountain View Club.
Attendance at the meeting is a requirement to maintain flight currency. If you are unable to attend a meeting, you must view the video tape of the meeting in the Kirtland Flight Center office before you can again fly solo. This can be done at your convenience at any time the office is open. If you have any questions about the meeting or other dates posted, contact our Flight Center Manager, Joanna Erni, or Chief Flight Instructor, Larry Goodwin.
