The Sunport Control Tower is sponsoring an ATC Meet and Greet picnic on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, starting at 1600 (4:00 p.m).  The FAA will be providing soft drinks, side dishes, and desserts.  The Aero Club will be grilling burgers, brats, and hot dogs.  Cash donations to CFI Mia Alderete are encouraged for purchasing food.  The picnic will be held next to the control tower.

This will be an opportunity for Aero Club members to put a face to that voice you hear on the radio.  And you will be able to ask controllers questions about procedures, radio terminology, etc.
