\"OurAimNoAccident-2\"<\/a> The Flying Safety Meeting is held on the first Wednesday of every even-numbered month (February, April, etc.).<\/p>\n

The general membership meeting<\/strong> begins at 1830<\/strong> (6:30 pm).<\/p>\n

The Standardization Board<\/strong> meets at 1800<\/strong> (6:00 pm). Standardization Board members include club officers, club advisors, instructors and clearing authorities (SOFs).<\/p>\n

Attendance at our bimonthly safety meetings is mandatory for club members to maintain flight currency. However, far from being onerous, these meetings are great way to keep up with safety topics and to network with fellow flyers. You also may be lucky to win a fabulous door prize!<\/p>\n

If you are unable to attend an in-person meeting, you must view the DVD of the meeting in the Kirtland Flight Center office before you can fly again. If you view it when the office is closed, write a note listing the main topics and slip it under the Chief Flight Instructor\u2019s or the Office Manager\u2019s door to receive credit. The easiest way to get there is through the Truman gate. Go straight to Randolph Ave (second light), turn right and go about 1\/2 mile. Building 916 is on the right side of the road. It is best to park in the parking lot on the south (left) side of the road.
